Who runs this site
ReRoof Report is an independent publisher. It is not owned by, or affiliated with, any roofing company, manufacturer, insurer or government agency.
Pages are written and reviewed by the ReRoof Report editorial team. We don't put invented names or stock-photo faces on our articles. How we research and check each page is set out in our editorial policy.
What we publish
- Tools: a roof age and insurance check, a replacement cost calculator, a repair-or-replace checker and a material cost comparison.
- Guides on Florida roof costs, roof insurance rules, roof age and lifespan.
- Original data from public permit records in Manatee and Charlotte counties, Florida tax-roll parcels and Microsoft building footprints. Our methodology page explains each source and its limits.
How the site makes money
The site doesn't earn money yet. We run no advertising, sponsored content, affiliate links or paid placements, and no company pays to appear here or to change what our pages say. If that changes, the advertising disclosure will say how before it starts.
What we are not
- Not a roofing contractor. We don't inspect, repair or install roofs, and we don't employ roofers. Check any contractor's license at myfloridalicense.com before you hire.
- Not an insurer or insurance agent. We explain what Florida statutes and Citizens rules say. We don't sell policies or interpret yours; your policy terms control.
- Not a public adjuster. We don't handle, negotiate or advise on insurance claims. In Florida only a licensed public adjuster or an attorney may do that for pay.
- Not a law firm. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
